Colección: The Amber Collection

I amassed quite a collection of Baltic amber when I was living in St Petersburg, Russia, at the end of the last century. Formed from the sap of now-extinct conifers around 35 million years ago, the special structure of Baltic amber makes it denser, harder and more resistant. I love the deep, treacly colors and the way the light is refracted and reflected though different layers. I have designed each piece in this collection to bring out the unique qualities of each stone.
